Dr. Loco doesn't just serve cocktails — he conducts them. Poco Loco is a Latin tapas bar where Mexican-Spanish fusion food meets drinks served straight from a science lab. Bold, playful and a little unhinged by design.
Instagram01 — Branding & Logo
Poco Loco needed a face as bold as its flavours. Enter Dr. Loco — a Mexican chili in a lab coat, the fictional mad scientist behind every cocktail on the menu. Designed from scratch, he became the heart of the brand. The logo — a wine glass, a flask, a test tube — was built to sit alongside him: equal parts Latin warmth and laboratory precision.
02 — Menu Design
The menu needed to feel as theatrical as the restaurant itself — designed to carry the brand's personality across every page through bold type, Latin energy and Dr. Loco's unmistakable presence.
03 — Cocktails
The cocktail menu takes its cues from a school science notebook — blue-squared pages filled with doodles, scribbles and diagrams. The kind most of us were too busy drawing in to actually pay attention. Science never looked this good — or this drinkable.
04 — Interior
A space that lives up to the brand — vibrant, textured and full of personality. Positioned in the outdoor garden terrace, the Periodic Table of Poco Loco became a landmark in itself — large enough to be seen across the entire restaurant, and credited with driving cocktail sales through sheer curiosity.
05 — Signage
A custom periodic table of ingredients and cocktails — printed as large-format wall signage. Each element reimagined through the lens of Dr. Loco's laboratory, turning the restaurant's menu into a piece of art.
